Welcome to Basseth's page! They are the current leader of Aerem, a country made of several floating islands. They have been in power for a few decades (which isn't a lot for their species). They are part of the old royal family, which uhhh....all died in a war. The lore will be explained later. They enjoy meat, fur, and fruits. They spend their free time painting, making stained glass, writing, and playing board games with their child. They are a pretty strict leader, but try their best to keep the people happy (so they wouldn't get their ass thrown off the island). They also are a very hyper prefectionist. They spend hours of their day arranging their feathers, making sure that their room is impecable, chosing clothes...god forbid they make an error on a text.
~~lore~~
They were raised in a time of pretty hight tension between Aereth, their country, and Ti'al, the 'neighboring' country (Ti'al is actually below Aerem). Their parents, the rulers of Aerem, were uh. interesting. They did their best to ensure that Basseth would become the national priest (in direct contact with their god), and tehri sister would become the future Grand General (basically ruler) of the country. And so, they did. Basseth managed to become priest at roughly 300 years old (~25 human years) and were sent to a temple for presumably the rest of their life. HOWEVER, uh, when they arrived, their god was gone. like. she just fucking dissapeared. that sent the nation into an nderstandable panic and yada yada war with Ti'al cuz their god was the one giving them military advice, parents and sister get murdered while they were still at the temple trying to fix everything, they decide to go back home and find their entire femili slaughtered. whoopsies. they crashout and kill a load of soldiers. They get selected as the next Grand General by the people in power who survived, and have to rule and entire nation without any former training whatsoever while wearing their sister's mask (masks are custom made for Generals, it's basically considered rude to not wear it during formal events).
